This Privacy Policy also applies when we receive or collect professional profile information about you from third-party providers or publicly available sources to provide employment, recruiting, talent identification, or workforce analytics services. In collecting this information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.
By creating an account through the Service, or by otherwise accessing, visiting, or using the Service, you acknowledge that Opptly may collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, including where consent is required for specific processing activities, Opptly will obtain and rely upon the appropriate legal basis for such processing, including your consent where applicable.

- Updates to this Privacy Policy. We may need to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the amended terms on the Service at least thirty (30) days before the effective date of the changes. If you are a registered user of the Service, we will also ask you to affirmatively accept the amended Privacy Policy the next time you log in to your Opptly account following the effective date of the amended Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you should discontinue your use of the Service. If you continue using the Service after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect, you will be bound by the updated Privacy Policy.
- Information Collected from You by Opptly. We may collect information that you provide to us in connection with your use of the Service when you register as a user of the Service, or send e-mail messages, forms, or other information to us through or in connection with the Service. To become a registered user of the Service, you must provide your name and e-mail address. We may also receive or collect professional and employment-related information about you from third-party data providers, recruiting and workforce partners, job-search platforms, and publicly available sources. This information may include your name, contact details, general location, employment and education history, skills, professional qualifications, compensation information, and other information included in a professional profile. We use this information for purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including talent identification, employment matching, workforce analytics, and contacting you about prospective job opportunities.
- Information You Share on the Service. If you are a registered user of the Service, you will have the ability to create an individual profile (a “User Profile”). If you are a user seeking employment (a “Job Seeker”) you will have the option of providing as part of your User Profile a profile photo, your resume, your phone number, the industry in which you are seeking employment, your experience level, your education level, your desired salary and URLS for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts that are registered in your name for your personal use. If you are an individual or entity who is looking to fill open employee or contractor positions (a “Job Creator”) you will have the option of providing as part of your User Profile information about your business and your hiring practices. Your User Profile information will be accessible to Opptly. Opptly may also share your User Profile with third parties as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
- Information You Share Through Social Media Services. The Service may include links to third party social media services where you will be able to post comments, stories, reviews or other information. Your use of these social media services may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by these social media services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the social media services with which you interact to make sure you understand the information that may be collected, used, and shared by those social media services.
- Information Automatically Collected Through the Service. Opptly may automatically collect information about you when you use the Service. If you access the Service through a mobile device, we may collect information such as your mobile device ID, device type, and your use of features, functions, or notifications on the device, as well as similar technical data. You may be able to adjust the settings on your mobile device to prevent or restrict the sharing of this information with Opptly. If you access the Service through a computer, we will automatically collect information such as your browser type and version, computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the Service, IP address and standard web log information.
- Cookies. We may automatically collect information from you when you use the Service using “cookies”. Cookies are small amounts of data that are stored within your computer’s Internet browser and that are accessed and recorded by the websites that you visit so that they can recognize the same browser navigating online at a later time. Information that may be collected by cookies when you use the Service may include, without limitation:
- the pages you visit within the Service;
- the date and time of your visit to the Service;

- Payment Processors. If you make a payment through the Service, our third party payment processor will collect payment information from you. All information collected by our third party payment processor for purposes of processing your payments is not available to us, unless you have otherwise provided this information to us in connection with your use of the Service.
- Use of Information by Opptly. Opptly may use information that we collect about you through the Service to:
- provide access to the Service and to provide you with requested services and customer support and to process and respond to your inquiries;
- facilitate employment matching, job application processing, workforce analytics, skills analysis, talent identification, recruiting activities, and related employment and workforce management services;
- prevent, detect, and investigate potentially prohibited or illegal activities;
- analyze the accuracy, effectiveness and usability of the Service;
- generate and review reports and data about our user base and service usage patterns;
- compile aggregate data for internal and external business purposes;
- resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems;
- provide you with other services requested by you as described when we collect the information; and
- as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.
In addition, if you are a registered user of the Service, we may email you marketing communications about products and services that we believe may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt-out of receiving these emails from us, please follow the instructions contained in each email you receive from us which will allow you to opt-out of receiving further marketing communications from us.
- Opptly’s Disclosure of Information to Third Parties. We will share your information with third parties in some circumstances as follows:
- Third Party Marketing Partners. We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. Personal data is shared with third parties solely when necessary to provide our services, and only under binding agreements that require confidentiality and limit use of the data to those purposes. Mobile data is never shared or sold for advertising or promotional use. Any use of personal information beyond service delivery occurs only with your explicit consent, provided at the time you submit your information or through a subsequent consent request.
- Our Service Providers. We may share your information with third party contractors or service providers who provide certain services to us or on our behalf, such as operating and supporting the Service or otherwise responding to your customer service requests. These service providers will only have access to the information needed to perform these limited functions on our behalf and are required to provide your information with at least the same level of protection and security as we use for the Service.
- Job Creators and Job Seekers. We may share information with Job Creators, Job Seekers, prospective employers, workforce partners, recruiting partners, employer-of-record providers, payroll providers, and other entities involved in providing employment, recruiting, onboarding, or workforce management services.
- Business Transfers; Bankruptcy. If Opptly becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, securities offering, bankruptcy, reorganization, dissolution, or other transaction or if the ownership of all or substantially all of our business otherwise changes, Opptly may share or transfer your information to a third party or parties in connection with the applicable transaction.
- Our Affiliates. We may share some or all of your information with our parent company, subsidiaries and corporate affiliates, joint venturers, or other companies under common control with us for internal business purposes. We will require these entities to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy with regard to their use of your information.
- Aggregate Information. Opptly may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information relating to users of the Service with affiliated or unaffiliated third parties for business, research, analytics, benchmarking, product improvement, and reporting purposes. We take reasonable measures to ensure that such information is not intended to identify individual users. Any personal data that identifies an individual will continue to be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Response to Subpoenas or Court Orders or to Protect Rights and to Comply with Our Policies. Where Opptly receives legal notices, intellectual property claims, regulatory requests, or similar legal communications, we may disclose information as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect legal rights, investigate claims, or respond to legal processes. Where appropriate, Opptly will take reasonable steps to limit disclosure to information necessary for the applicable purpose.
- Security. Opptly takes reasonable measures to protect the information you provide to Opptly or submit through the Service against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. However, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Opptly or submit through the Service and you do so at your own risk. No internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free. Email sent to or through the Service may not be secure. You should use caution whenever submitting information online and take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
- Accessing, Changing and Managing Your Information. You may change and update the information you provide through the Service, or change your preferences concerning how we use your information by contacting us at info@opptly.ai, or, if you are a registered user by logging in to your account and changing the applicable information. If you choose to terminate your account, you may also request that we delete your information by contacting us at info@opptly.ai. Following receipt of a request from you, we will take reasonable steps to update, correct or delete your information.
- No Use by Children. Opptly is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen (13). We will never knowingly collect information directly from children under the age of thirteen (13) without verifiable parental consent. If you are under the age of thirteen (13), please do not provide us with information of any kind whatsoever. If you have reason to believe that we may have accidentally received information from a child under the age of thirteen (13), please contact us immediately at info@opptly.ai.
- Retention of Your Information. We retain information for active Opptly accounts as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. In addition, we may retain information from closed accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation and take other actions permitted by law. The information we retain about you will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Opptly will retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and business requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required for these purposes, Opptly will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of the information in accordance with applicable law.
- Your Rights as a Data Subject. By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. If you are located in Singapore, Opptly processes your personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”), together with any applicable regulations and guidance issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”).
- Collection, Use, and Disclosure. Opptly collects, uses, and discloses personal data only for purposes that have been communicated to you, that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law. For professional profile information obtained from third-party providers or public sources, Opptly may rely on consent, deemed consent, the publicly available data exception, or another exception permitted by the PDPA, as applicable. Opptly may use this information for appropriate purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including identifying and contacting individuals about prospective job opportunities.
- Access and Correction Requests. Individuals located in Singapore may request access to personal data in Opptly’s possession or control and may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data by contacting us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. An access request may include information about how Opptly used or disclosed the personal data during the preceding 12 months. Opptly also takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is accurate and complete where it is likely to be used to make a decision affecting an individual or disclosed to another organization.
- Withdrawal of Consent. Individuals located in Singapore may withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data for specific purposes by contacting Opptly. Upon receiving such a request, Opptly will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements and will inform the individual of any consequences that may arise from the withdrawal of consent.
- Cross-Border Transfers. Opptly may transfer personal data to jurisdictions outside Singapore, including the United States and other jurisdictions where Opptly, its affiliates, customers, service providers, and business partners operate. Where personal data originating in Singapore is transferred outside Singapore, Opptly will take reasonable steps to ensure that such information receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
- Data Breach Notification. Opptly maintains policies and procedures designed to identify, investigate, respond to, and remediate security incidents involving personal data. Where required by applicable law, Opptly will provide notifications to affected individuals and regulatory authorities, including the PDPC, regarding notifiable data breaches.
- Marketing Communications and Singapore Do Not Call Requirements. Opptly may send communications relating to services, employment opportunities, customer support, product updates, account administration, and other legitimate business purposes. Where required by Singapore law, Opptly will comply with applicable requirements relating to the Singapore Do Not Call Registry and other marketing communication obligations. Messages sent solely to promote employment opportunities are generally not specified messages under Singapore’s Do Not Call provisions. Opptly will honor opt-out requests and, where any communication is subject to Singapore’s Do Not Call requirements or other applicable marketing laws, will comply with those requirements.
- Complaints. Individuals located in Singapore who have concerns regarding Opptly’s handling of personal data are encouraged to contact Opptly first using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. Individuals may also submit complaints or inquiries to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore (PDPC) through the contact channels made available by the PDPC.

We keep enquiry emails for two years, after which they are securely archived and kept for seven years, when we delete them.
